Many years of work have contributed to the development of equal child health care in Sweden. In eWeave BHV, all elements are included in digitised form-from birth to age 5. Built-in support functions with links to the National Handbook, quick information boxes with mouse pointers, provide knowledge and management support for professionals in child health care.
With three clicks of the mouse, the entire BVC care programme can be pre-booked in the child's calendar up to and including the 5-year visit, scheduled on the correct date.
In total, there are 15 meeting points, where at each position there is a package of forms prepared with for vaccination, age-appropriate measurements, examinations and questions to be recorded, in order to monitor and evaluate the child's development and abilities. The system continuously builds up all relationships, for example, if there is support for population registers and the HSA ID directory. Reports and summaries are automatically generated.
From all documents created, each individual field can be marked and also colour-coded, e.g. a measurement value that falls outside the reference level will have a red marker in front of it. Key data is updated after each new registration, and is continuously compiled in a health summary. This gives an immediate idea of the evolution of events-without having to read through the main medical record. The colour coding also provides visual support and guidance.
