The most reliable way to monitor a child's growth and health

eWeave Growth is a powerful tool that enables dynamic growth curves for children 0-19 years with selectable reference curves and advanced calculations.

Dynamic growth curves

National paediatric experts on child growth issues, showed how a child's growth should be visualised, leaving behind the static reference curves. In a continuation of the Child Health Data project, eWeave was involved, and the result was eWeave Growth. Growth is integrated into Core as part of the Child Health Record, but can also be used as a standalone Growth basic version.

Views and tools

Digitisation technology opens up entirely new possibilities for quickly switching and combining different curves. Five different age ranges can be displayed, from 0-8 months up to 0-19 years, as well as premature curves. Variables that can be combined are height, weight, BMI, head circumference and sitting height. Each curve can be displayed with reference curve, SD and growth rate. Expected final length, Iso-BMI, pubertal development and scores can be flexibly displayed or hidden. Currently the reference material Sweden 1981 and from WHO is available, but other materials can be implemented.

Advanced calculations

The system also continuously generates a Growth Survey in tabular form, with calculations on each measurement of length weight and head circumference. The change between two measurement points is also calculated as delta SD and rate of change on an annual basis. Here you can select different time periods and in growth analysis tools get a result, which is evaluated against inserted algorithms. The result can be exported to e.g. Excel, where it can be further processed. This tool is not intended to be used in everyday health care, but more for special cases-with special treatment or disease conditions that may affect growth.
